RICHARD J. HICKERSON
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Rock Springs LDS Church for Richard Joseph Hickerson, 57, of 332 P St., Rock Springs. Bishop Larry O. West officiated. Interment was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hickerson died Sunday at 8:45 a.m. at Sweetwater County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient one day.
A lifetime resident of Rock Springs, he was born Dec. 21, 1910, in Rock Springs. Mr. Hickerson, a retired carpenter, was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Rock Springs Art Guild.
Surviving are his wife, Ansta, Rock Springs; one daughter, Mrs. James (Marilynn) Noble, Rock Springs; one son, Larry, Rock Springs; one brother, Sam, Cheyenne; two sisters, Mrs. William (Lillian) Welsh, and Mrs. Harry (Ruth) Fitchett, both of Rock Springs; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were James Daniel, Robert and Ted Welsh, Charles Phillips, Harry Fitchett Jr. and John F. Kemp.
